Coppice Stud highly recommends Natalie Greasley
for the breaking, training and
producing of Shetland ponies.

the Kingsford Novice Ridden
at NPS Area 17, July 2006
Natalie started riding Shetlands at the age of 10 and was
a regular competitor in the Shetland Grand National
for Pat Renwick of the Ulverscroft Stud. She
qualified for Olympia four years running and was also hugely successful
in show classes during the 1990's with ponies such as Claylands Calypso,
who qualified for HOYS in 1995 and Brindle Miranda who took the working
hunter title at HOYS with Natalie in 1994.

Natalie and Coppice Brigitta at Staffs Country
Festival 2010, Brig's first outing after only five weeks with Nat, good as
gold, loving every minute and placed third in a very strong Picton class
at her first ever show.

Coppice Fanfare
ex Coppice Briar Rose (Glenfall Excelsior ex Blossom of Luckdon)
Skewbald (bay and white) filly to make 42”, born 1 May 2006
A stunning, well-marked filly with a beautiful head and her father's
elegant and ground-covering movement. Broken by Natalie Greasley in
summer 2010 and has just done her first show after only five weeks, being
placed third in a very strong Picton class at Staffs Country Festival. Will make a top ridden
pony and should go all the way. Pictured July
2010.

championship at Showlands, September 2007

Nat studied for and gained her National Diploma in Horse Studies, Advanced National
Certificate in Equine Business Management and NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Horse
Studies and then set up her own training facility at Stanton under Bardon
in Leicestershire, 5 mins away from M1 Jct 22. She rides and trains
a variety of horses and ponies but her speciality lies with
training and producing our wonderful British native
ponies and Shetlands in particular.
|
|
In 2007 Nat has been campaigning the
Shetlands Ulverscroft Midnight Ambassador and Ulverscroft
Honeycomb, Coppice Topper, Coppice Edwin and Coppice Fanfare, as well as the Exmoor
Porridge, having qualified Porridge for HOYS and the NPS Bob Templeton ridden finals
2007 and Topper and Ed in the NPS Picton Novice Finals. Porridge
went on to crown his year at
HOYS, taking 9th place in his section.

Nat continues to break and train many of the youngsters from the Ulverscroft Stud (now based in Cumbria) and
continues to be instrumental in the success of the ridden ponies from the Coppice Stud.

STARS
OF THE FUTURE
|

|
|
Another of Nat's great strengths lies in training and motivating young riders who will form the next generation
of little jockeys for the smaller ponies. Her yard attracts a stream
of good lead-rein, first ridden and open riders who are keen to get into
the show ring for Team Greasley.
